Meerushini joined Miller Bosman Le Roux in October 2018, as a director in the Litigation Department. She was admitted as an attorney in April 1999, after obtaining a B.Proc degree at the University of Durban Westville. After completing her articles at Elliott Maris Wilmans and Hay in Kimberley, she relocated to Johannesburg for work opportunities and joined Standard Bank (Stannic) in 2000, as a vehicle asset recovery controller. She later headed up the Vehicle and Asset Recovery Unit.

Meerushini joined Stupel & Berman Inc in 2005 as a director. She relocated to Somerset West in the Western Cape in 2014, due to work opportunities in respect of her spouse. She has dedicated the last five years to raising her two young boys and has been involved in numerous school community fundraising events in Somerset West.

Meerushini brings with her invaluable experience in the areas of matrimonial disputes/divorces, as well as asset-based finance recoveries within the corporate/financial services environment. She has a Higher Diploma in Insolvency (APISA) from the University of Johannesburg.

She is a qualified Commercial Mediator and has been accredited as a conflict dynamics mediator. She currently serves as a Councillor on the Western Cape Legal Practice Council and chairs this Council, as well as serves as a member of the the Management Committee. 

Meerushini was admitted as a Conveyancer in the High Court of South Africa on 2 February 2024.
